My name is Vanessa Gibson. I am from The Sunshine State (Florida), where I’ve lived all my life. I’m happily married to my best friend. We have two kids, a dog, and a cat. A few of my favorite things… When I’m not teaching and creating, I enjoy spending time with my family, reading, learning, working out, and spending time outside. I also love to help others.
I inspire to help teachers and parents with growing children that are lifelong readers. My goal is to provide teachers and parents with support and resources which would allow all children to engage in activities that will foster a love for reading and learning
I have a bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education and a master’s degree in Reading, I’ve taught Pre-k- 3rd grade. I currently teach 3rd grade. Over the years, I’ve had the pleasure of serving students with a wide range of abilities. This experience has helped me refine my skills in using strategies to differentiate instruction, which allows all students to be successful and engage in meaningful reading experiences.
